Take a Look over at - Lee Drury De Cesare's Casting-Room Couch

Lee Drury De Cesare's Casting-Room Couch:"

Might as well open this up since everyone is so interested in the Alafia Issue.

I will say it again.

Read the book written by an ex-teacher of HCPS - "Death By Education" - William Wieser. - Ex Teacher

Read the Doug Erwin Case. - Ex Administrator

Read the first Whitehead Case. - Ex Parent

One common denominator - retaliation.

Connect the dots.

You may be the next one.

I was struck by the level of mean spirited retaliation against William Wieser as well. It was particularly nasty and even after he won his case, they still punished him and deliberately went against the court's intent. They seemed to know that Mr. Wieser's finances wouldnt allow him to continue to fight for his rights. Mean. Scarey too, especially if you stand up.

Then the issue of how one of his own lawyers may have been working against his interests.

The joke that was made of the grievance procedure.

The possible attempt to plant an informant in his midst.

Those folks don't play.

Better be careful Richard.

Thomas, I have been thinking on this one, and will continue to do so.

Some points to note:

All 3 won. Wieser ran out of funds to fight the against the appeals. The Whiteheads had the financial banking to get all the way to Federal Court and won in a jury trial. The jury awarded them $300,000 per parent, not for anything about the son, but for the retaliation towards the parents. This jury award was lessened by the judge. Further comment on this will be held for other venues.

Two of the three were given the Moral Courage Award by Hillsborough County. This is an interesting point because there seems to be a lack of public entity to public entity respect.

This sentence holds more meaning than one one know: "It was particularly nasty and even after he won his case, they still punished him and deliberately went against the court's intent."

From what I understand, that goes for at least two of the three. If one studied the Whitehead trial and the judge's orders, I think you would find several incidents that would support that claim and would be astonished at how it happened.

No comment on the rest.
