I like the FOX reference. You hit the nail on the head again.

There are so many nails, and so little nail polish.

What about this nail:

PRO on HCPS: One More Story About Alafia Elementary: "By the way, this may be the last of any media reports of anything negative about HCPS:"

I just realized I should have qualified that statement early on in meaning that no negative comments would come from The Tribune.

If you want to know the truth about HCPS, you will get a better picture from The Times.

Why did the assessment team consist of the PR rep for the district and Jack Lamb's daughter (not exactly unbiased?)

I wonder why none of the parents complained about Maria Singfield, Department Manager for Human Resources being on the assessment team. She was principal at Armwood High School and run off for doing the same thing as Smith (e.g. fear, racial tension, intimidation, threats, retaliation).

She was one of the worst principals I have ever seen. She ran off 40% of her teachers her first year, then she allowed a less-than-stable woman carry a loaded gun on campus. She and all her little downtown cronies helped cover it up. Too bad it happened a second time and none other than a few ESE students found it.and then started to discuss it school-wide. The cat was out of the bag. She is the one soley responsible for the crappy morale and mass turnover.

On second thought, maybe she was a perfect choice to help cover up your situation.

Signed,
Been there, done that, don't ever want to do it again.

I am surprised they didn't suspend the ESE students for talking about the teacher like they did the student who was talking about her teacher who was boinking one of her classmates.

Perhaps "they" look for the "bulldozer" mentalities because that is what "they" think it takes to deal with the public. Unfortunately, this approach alienates some of the very public that "they" need most in order to survive.

"They" can blame the public, but we are all in the same boat, and it looks like it is taking on water more and more.
