As soon as they retire, they are hired back.

Mr. Hamilton I thought just recently retired. He now is associated with the HBEC group in Pensacola.

They are being paid $65,000 to assist the District.

Who say's the District does not know how to hire outside help when they can't do it themselves.

A rather late response:

As if getting a no-bid contract on top of administrative retirement wasn't enough - Mr. Hamilton seems to have parlayed his role into that of lobbyist for 6 additional school districts as well as the Florida Association of School Administrators. I think the board needs to renegotiate.
