In today's local Tribune, Mr. Carl Zimmerman suggests that the present education system needs to be "reinvented".
Not so fast.
No self respecting teacher is going to take that. Doesn't everyone know it's a war out there (I say sarcastically)?
While "reinventing" the current education system might include strategies to increase the buy-in of students and parents, something that Mr. Zimmerman was suggesting, let's not forget the war. As I wrote a couple of posts ago, we need to support the teachers, but not the war.
